Hello everyone,
I just got my ATT uverse got installed today but unluckily my dvd player's remote control stopped working. I had Time Warner Cable earlier and never had issues with it
I am using att black uverse remove model # S10-S3 and I have Wi-Fi Enabeld Samsung BD-E5700 Blu Ray dvd player.
I am using HDMI for Uverse box and an another HDMI cable for DVD Player. I am able to switch the source list to DVD player. When I select HDMI3 (dvd), it connects and shows me Menu of my dvd player but none of remote controllers work neither att nor dvd player's remote control
I have tried to configure the remote when i click DVD & ENTER from my ATT remote.
It confirms that I am in programming mode after flash FOUR lights from remote
but when I try to press SCAN/FF on att remote... it won't do anything
I was keep pressing for like 10 minutes but nothing happened
Any Ideas, suggestions are welcoms and Thanks in advance.
Hope you guys can help me out to sort out this issue.

Hello...
Thanks for the suggestion but i found the code and manually configured it but there are still some limitation like i can not use the settings on my dvd player.. but its fine
But now i am suffering with another issue which is very frustrating.
I have Sony Sound Bar & Woofer system and now it has stopped working which was working perfectly fine.
I have tried configuring it and was fully able to enter the code.
The sound bar system even goes off and on when i select AUX on u verse remote and switches it off.
but the sound if not coming from it.
Could you please suggest me that if Logitech remote will work with my dvd player and sound bar system ?
and which one should i get ?
my sony sound bar system model is SONY HT CT 60
Please help me out with this.
Thanks

bsingh83 - Yes, the LH does support your Sound Bar & it is designed just for this purpose. Models 650 + have multiple activities. So, if you set one activity for TV only it would turn on U-verse & TV, set proper input & TV sound. You can also do watch CD only & it is the same except it turns on CD instead of STB. Then you can have each of those with HT sound & it turns on the sound bar & uses it for sound. Also, it will do ALL functions - not just some.
Check out the Logitech.com remotes
You may be able to mitigate your u-verse remote problems with further coding.
955 is volume - press att/OK at the same time - then enter - The volume will follow the mode button - to change volume select the TV or AUX. or press AUX between att/OK & ENTER & the Sound Bar will ALWAYS control volume.
To turn everything on - 977 - att/OK - att - TV - Aux - DVR- ENTER turns on everything. When you change it you have to ALWAYS enter each device you want & it does it in the order you specify.
We may need to have a detailed discussion on how you are connected & how you want to use it.

bsingh83 - I was thinking about that this am - The least expensive LH for your situation is the model 300. I have mentioned it as available new for $30. But, no more. The only one I found was on Amazon & the price was way up.
The only deficiency of the 300 is that it has only one activity. But, it sounds like you are not really interested in multiple activities. You can use the model 300 to directly control all your devices and it is easy to program & you can have overlap on the device buttons - e.g in the one activity the volume affects TV and the channel affects the STB. And, it is easy to program.
But, at the Amazon price, you may be able to find a deal on a 650 or 700. You can use them simply, like the 300, but they are a little nicer. I'll see if I can find a deal on-line. If you have a warehouse membership, check there. If you have any questions - post.
I'll see if I find any deals on the web. I did not see any deals on the Logitech site. This is the best deal I could find -http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Harmony-Remote-Control-Silver/dp/B004OVECU0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=13...

bsingh83 - 700 is the one I have. I think I picked it over the 650 because it was rechargeable. Now I see you can put rechargable batteries in place of regular batteries.
I believe I paid around 125, saw prices as low as 90. Now it seems to be over 175.
I see in the Amazon reviews that some folks had ssome problems with the 650. Never had any problem with the 700.
I see you had two posts - I can say that the 650 will work all functions of all your devices -
Probably from first programming.
If necessary Logitech CSR will help.
Worst case - you do a learning step for function from the device remote.
