Wireless receiver gets live TV but cannot see DVR

I have a wireless TV receivers.  It works normally except it is unable to connect to the DVR receiver: when I try to pause, it says "Pause is not available.  The DVR is currently unplugged or restarting".  I can schedule a recording, however I cannot view the recordings or pause/rewind live TV.  The default gateway reported in Network Settings indicates that the receiver may be connected to the wrong access point - it receives U-Verse from the generic WAP, an Linksys E1200 rather than from the U-Verse WAP.  How do I get the receiver to connect to the U-Verse WAP?

pikalax1 - Could be the WAP or the RG. I had almost the exact same scenario yesterday on a wired setup.

Disconnect power on RG, DVR and STBs. Remove wap.
Plug in RG wait for all green.
Plug in DVR wait for channel viewing.
plug wap into RG
Plug-in one STB then the other.

Thanks, I'll try that later. Here's some more information for you.

- It is the standard Cisco ISB7005 with firmware 2.1.2512.52.
- The "Easy Remote" app works fine with the wired receivers but produces frequent errors with the ISB7005.

pikalax1 - How do you make any sense out of the Easy remote?

If you are having problems - Try the remote in U-verse for iphone or - even better - Buddy TV.

Did you just mark this as a solution because you tried the multi-box reboot?

RG - Residential Gateway.  Same as a modem.  Brains of the operation

WAP - Wireless Access Point

DVR - Digital Video Recorder.  Records and stores programs.

STB - Set Top Box.  Any additional boxes beyond the DVR.
