Using IP Network vs COAX

Hi I was having issue with COAX cables connecting to my kids rooms so switched the connection to IP Netwrok instead. This worked nicely however it can not communicate to the main DVR to watch dvr'd shows. What am I missing? Do I need to change any settings for these boxes to use the DVR funcationality?

kjasmin68 - Best do a whole house reboot to get everything back in synch - Pull power on RG, DVR and STBs.
Repower RG - wait for all green.
Repower DVR - wait for viewing.
Repower other STBs.

You did disconnect unused COAX to avoid confusing the boxes??

Hi aviewer,

Yes I disconnected from coax on all the boxes. I also have a netgear router behind the modem that the boxes are connect to. Also I use the powerline network adaptor, dont think this makes a difference though. Do I need to connect the uverse directlyto the modem?

kjasmin68 You should be able to work the TV or the internet through the powerline adapter and the router, But not both. Isolate the TV leg(s) and the internet legs, Also, make sure the router is set up so as to operate as a simple switch.
