You took the words out of my mind. Sure I like to see all the new apps , too, but it's like Christmas Eve, can't wait for morning to get our Phase 2'S and our Media Shares.

Merry Christmas, Escapee and all!

I'm on the Garden Grove border next to Anaheim...we got the update on Wednesday...along with today's outage. My wife teaches at University of Phoenix Online and couldn't post her grades. She was freaking out!

Re: Total home DVR Phase 2

Well, I've been w/o Uverse voice since Thursday p.m. What happened was this, I saw my uverse bill and I saw that I was being charged for two phone lines, one that I never ordered. The second phone line had the same number as my sister's cell phone. So I called and the lady said she would take off the second line and credit my bill for installation and second line charges. Later, I find, that the number I wanted to keep was gone and the 2nd line with my sister's cell number was still on. So, I called back, talked to another lady, Toni, explained my situation said my regular line should be back by  7;30 that night. At 8 p.m, I called back, on my cell, both lines were disconnected, but Uverse offices were closed. So Friday a.m., I called back, talked to a lady named Ann said my line should be up and running Saturday a.m and gave me a $50 credit.

I'll let you all know tomorrow if my line is back on.

Re: Total home DVR Phase 2

Got the new update in OC - Yorba Linda on Thursday.  Today outage on internet for about an hour or 2.  Like that you can now delete and record from any box in the house.  Wish you could pause and rewind live tv though.  Maybe soon.  I like that they are giving us STZ and SHO for free for July.

Re: Total home DVR Phase 2

Received part 1 of phase 2 update tonight. Benbrook, TX, suburb of Fort Worth. Still waiting for the hotfix for the audio problem. Does anybody know if any of this update improves picture quality? I still have bad PQ on HD. The dancing pixel issue. Have had 4 premises techs out. Have changed RG, STB, Change port @ VRAD, and rewired outside box to RG with CAT5e. Still no improvement. The latest it's gone above Tier 2 and resolution, what ever that is. Supposedly a INR tech will come out. Any help? Thanks

Yorba Linda.

I also noticed the loss of DD5.1 sound as I've seen posted elsewhere.  Related posts also indicate that within a day I should see a hotfix for the loss of surround sound.  Nothing yet a day later.

Re: Total home DVR Phase 2

I got it last night in Costa Mesa, CA.  All four boxes got it.  I had the "surround sound" option under the audio option right after the update.  No need to wait for a "hot fix".  The 5.1 works on HDMI and Optical.   It says there is goign to be an update at 5:17pm today have no idea what that's about.

Being able to manage recordings all over the house is great.

Have you checked the "surround sound" option under the Audio options?
