Setting the DVR for recording shows that start late?

Setting the DVR for recording shows that start late? Ex... shows that start late should start at 8:00 but does not until 8:50 because of football.

The solution is to add on time to the end of the show in anticipation (ie: BB on Sunday nights during football season).

Even if you find out the program has a delayed start after the scheduled start time, you can add on enough time (at the end) to catch it all.

ETA: Since you never really know how long a football game is going to run over, add on an hour or two just to make sure.

Indeed!  Autumn Sunday night's on CBS have always been problematic for Big Brother and later on, The Amazing Race.  I add an hour or two to each series recordings.  CBS should do what FOX does and build that time in for a post game show.
