Receiver goes bad you lose all of your recordings fyi

Just fyi one of my receivers went bad so I lost all of my recordings and you can't get them back. Do everything you can to save your receiver if you can. I like live chat much better I think. My own two cents next, possible solutions go online and find your episodes/ series, search on demand and hope they are there. I really was not thrilled about losing my series, but since I didn't know this could happen I figured others should know as well so they don't rely on the DVR too much.
