Looks like HBO will have all GOT episodes air before the new season start on 1804 and 1805. So I did the usual and
- clicked on the title --> record series --> any day any time --> first run and rerun and saved.
When I check my scheduled recordings it shows that only the first episode is going to be taped and nothing after that.
of course, I can go and record each episode on it's own but I want to record the whole series under one "folder"
so I don't have 60 plus episodes listed one after another in the main recording list.
Any idea how to fix this?

Uverse doesn't have "folders". Each episode WILL be listed separately....unless you are talking about DirecTV.

When I record a series, it shows the number of recorded episodes next to each title. If I record one episode at a time, then it list them one after the other.
I want to tape GOT so it will show all episodes under that title.

Series record on the common title could be considered as all in a "folder" by the series title name. Does HBO really allow you to record GOT at all (assuming you are subscribed to HBO)?

I set up a GoT series record (any day/any time/first run & rerun), on both 1804 and 1805 and my Series info shows 65 scheduled.

Use the Guide and go to channel 1804
Toggle to the LEFT until you are highlighting the Channel....not the program. Press Enter. This will bring up all programming on 1804 for the next two weeks.
Keep toggling down until you see the FIRST GoT. You'll also see all the other showings after that.
Press on THAT showing.
NOW do a Series Record option and see if it that works. This is how I managed to get it set.
PITA? Yes but you got managed to set your series record.

As you can see, this is showing 65 scheduled.
How full is your DVR?

Thanks. So this must be an issue with my DVR? Can't think of anything else. I have no issues recording other series at all.

Have you rebooted the DVR? I can't imagine that that would work but it's worth a shot, I suppose.

Is the one that is scheduled episode S01E01, i.e., the first episode of season 1? HBO makes that episode free for everyone. If it is I suspect they just aren't allowing recording of the rest even if you do have a HBO subscription and no matter what the series record info says. Might be a tactic to encourage people to buy those expensive box sets of blu-rays or dvd's!
65 episodes? I thought there were 67 episodes.
