Failure to Communicate; Uverse Remote to TV

I was watching a recording when I heard a little "pop" and the picture froze.  I could do nothing with it and could not turn TV off with remote; there was absolutely no communication between remote and DVR.  I could access Netflix, Hulu, etc., and turn TV on/off with the Vizio Remote.  I finally unplugged DVR for 30 secs.  I can now use Uverse Remote to manage recordings, guide, menu, etc., but still have to use Vizio Remote to turn TV on/off and manage the volume; weird!  ANYONE???

Looks like the remote is not programmed to the TV anymore.  We can help get that back. 

 

First try to re-program the remote with the instructions located here: AT&T Remote Programming
