DVR will not record series
HAd DVR about a month and recorded a show with "record now" but when I set up to record a series it records nothing. Is there a step I am missing or do I just need to uplug everything and plug back in for force a reset?

When in doubt, reboot (the DVR). You won't lose any recordings or scheduled recordings.

I agree with skeeter that a reboot is a good first step. But, I would like to know more.
How are you trying to set uo the recording & what show did not record?
You should try a test on a show that starts in a half hour.
