Can I adjust when my DVR recordings begin?
When I schedule a program to record on my DVR, it starts recording between one and two minutes before the show begins. Is there any way to adjust this beginning time? I see where I can change the end time, but not the beginning.
Thanks

It's the "soft padding" that's always introduced at the beginning (1 minute) and at the end (2 minutes). It's a "feature" that cannot be changed.
What I do is always fast forward to approximately the beginning and simply stop the playback at the end.

This is a good feature. I have had shows that do not start on time or run late. If it started on time and ended on time you could miss the beginning or end of your show. All you have to do is fast forward to the beginning of your show and stop when the show ends.

No, NOT "solved" and "soft padding" is NOT a "good feature" unless as user option. Many times, this "soft padding" results in phantom "conflicts" in DVR scheduling and live TV, even on the same channel! My programming, my DVR, let ME schedule it, please.

It always cuts off before the end of the show.
