DVR Delay in starting
We have a CISCO IPN 4320
We are experiencing slow response to pause, stop, restart
We are also having repeated messages of "Delay In Starting To Play..."
Rebooting of DVR does not seem to help.

How about rebooting the gateway (pull plug for 15 secs. and let it fully reboot) and and after that completes the dvr (pull plug for 15 secs.)? Also that is one of the older model dvr's. Those have some problem "keeping up" with the UI changes made through the years. You might want to consider replacing it with a newer model (you will lose all your recordings of course).

Felt like I had got thru the reboots before...But, this time it appears to be working. 🙂
Thank You

I've been getting this for a couple of weeks, my equipment is less than a year old.

I was having the same problem, and the double reboot fixed it for me too. Thanks.

as i got "uverse not available". I called ATT and had a new one sent, then
by some miracle the receiver recovered and is working ok for now. A very
poor product, but the comcast product is hardly better. So, since internet
(from any source) seems quite reliable, I hope the various
streaming services becoming available is a better option in the future.
