Cant pause live tv or record

When I try to record a program or pause a program,it says my reciever is unplugged or restartig. It is not unplugged.

You can try to reboot the main receiver(dvr) by pressing and holding power button for 10 secs and wait for it to load live tv and try again. Robot Happy

What iamarobot is trying to say is that in your home you have one DVR TV Receiver and the rest of your TVs are connected to TV Receivers that have to contact the actual DVR receiver to do pausing or recording.  The message you are seeing is that the TV you're using is connected to a non-DVR receiver and it's having trouble communicating with the DVR TV receiver.  This could mean that the DVR is unplugged from power, its network cable is unplugged, or there's some issue with your network.

If the DVR is up and running when you get this message, then, as iamarobot suggests, reboot your U-verse Gateway, then your U-verse DVR, then the TV Receiver where you're getting this message and see if that fixes it.  If not, post how your home is connected up.
