I am logged in to my Uverse app on my iPhone and when I go to the use "Remote" it pops up and asks if I want to manage U-verse receivers. Would you like to set up a receiver? I select "Yes" and it goes out and searches but comes back and says, "U-verse wireless gateway not found" because my DVR box is on my LAN, not Wireless network. How can this be corrected? Or, how can the app see my Network so that the "Remote" function of the Uverse app will work? Everything is logged in correctly and my iPhone is on the correct Wireless Network in my house.
You will need to make sure your iPhone and TV receiver are on the same subnet. Access the router page at 192.168.1.254 and go to the device list. There you should see your phone and receiver. Please click here for additional details. Have a wonderful day!
