Uverse App not compatible with tablets

I recently bought a new model 9" quad core tablet that has KitKat on it.  When I went to the Play Store to download the app, it did not appear there.  I then went to the Uverse tablet app webpage and it said the app was not compatible with my device.  I returned the tablet and ordered the same type (9" quad core with KitKat) from another manufacturer.  Same problem.  I have gotten the Uverse app to work with a Kindle that I have and usually if an app will work on that it will work on any Android device.  The app also works with my son's Samsung Tablet (that also has KitKat).

Both the Xfinity and Direct TV apps work on these tables.  I just recently got Uverse (I had Xfinitly previously).  If Uverse cannot get this app to work on my new tablet I will have to get rid of Uverse and go back to Xfinity.  When will your app be fixed?
