Good afternoon @ Ustabes.

I understand how important it is having my receiver and TV connected properly.  Allow me to provide some information.

You can view the processon connecting your TV with your receiver through TCL’s Support pages.  This will walk you through the setup process.

As for your surround sound system,  there are three things you can try to set up.  They are as follows:

1. Plug HDMI cable into the U-verse receiver, and the other end of the HDMI cable will plug into a "HDMI In" on your  sound system. Then on your sound system, Take another HDMI cable and plug it into "HDMI out" on your system and connect it to one of the HDMI ports on your tv.

2. Another way you can connect it would be to connect the HDMI cable to the back of the receiver and then the other end would connect to the back of the TV. Then you can hook up a Digital optical cable to the back of the U-verse Receiver where it says "Optical Audio Out", and the other end you will connect to the sound system where it says "Optical Audio In".

3. Another way you can try would be to connect the HDMI cable to the back of the receiver and then the other end would connect to the back of the TV. Then instead of using the Digital Optical cable, you can use the standard RCA/Composite cables (Yellow, White, and Red cables). You just connect only the White and the Red cables to the back of the U-verse receiver in the "Audio Out" ports, and then the other end connects to your Samsung sound system in the "Audio In" ports.

I hope this information helps.

No sorry, no app available for Roku.

The Uverse app is only available to mobile devices and then only available to Apple, Amazon and Android platforms.

I have uverse tv and I was  wondering if there is an app for the Roku. Trying to save money and not have so many cable  boxes. If I keep my DVR box and get rid  of the other two can I hook up as Roku device to the two TVs that will not have a cable box and still be able to get the channels  from my DVR device.
