Why the monthly phone call?

I plan on dropping Uverse in December when our contract is up because of the never ending price increases.  And each month, on the due date of the bill, we  receive a message on our answering machine that our bill is now due.  Even though we pay it before due date every month, we still get this message.  It infuriates me and reminds me each time that I can't wait for December to get rid of this obnoxious overpriced service.. We are going with Amazon Prime.  Buh By AT&T

Check you settings in MY att. Select "no reminders" option.
