Why is the autopay discount only temporary?
I had a $5.00 autopay discount on my account, but despite continuing to have autopay, it expired after 12 months. Very disappointed...as long as you have autopay, you should receive this discount. By having paperless billing and automatic payments, we're doing AT&T a favor.

Hi, @Jabowski.
Thank you for providing us with your feedback.
You received $5 off for signing up for auto-pay as a promotion for 12 months. After the 12 months is reached the $5 promotion code is no longer applied, being that the promotion has ended.Learn more about Auto-pay within this short article we've put together for you.

Drop autopay and let them mail you a bill.

NEVER! NEVER! Do automatic billing or give AT&T your credit card number.

It will cost AT&T at least $5 a month to mail you a bill and wait for your payment. Let them send you a bill until they give you back the discount. I am now waiting for 3 months as a new customer for my discount.
