UVerse Internet/Voice will not stand by their agreement.
On July 9th, my promotional fee was ending, so I called to renegotiate. After a lengthy conversation, including three holds while the agent spoke to his supervisor, we agreed on an amount for my uverse internet and voice. To my confusion, when I received my bill today the amount is almost twice what we agreed on. After another lengthy conversation today, I was told that the agent (and yes I had his name) had no authority to offer me such a deal and the only thing they can offer me is a one time discount on this months bill. What?? Are you kidding? If that happened how can I believe anything else you say is valid??
It's bad enough that us "valued customers" can't be offered promotions (I guess true valued customers are actually only new customers) but then to make an arrangement with me and not hold to it. I've been a valued customer for many, many years. Maybe I should take my home phone, internet and cell phone business elsewhere.
