Cancelling Uverse TV - How?

I have switched to Directv back on Jan 16 and have called Uverse that same day to cancel the TV service and have also returned all the TV and DVR equipment the next day.  I still have the Internet and Voice services active.

 

However, they seem to be having technical issues in cancelling the TV service every time I call them (so far I called them 7 times).  I think I called all different numbers so far and they have told me that a case has been raised and should be resolved by mid Feb.

 

It is the end of Feb, and nothing has happened.  I am not sure calling again will help.  Any suggestions on the next step?  In the meantime, TV service fees of $180 a month for something I cannot use anymore does not make sense.
