Billing higher than expected

i signed up at $135/month plus tax - my bill is $171. Plus I am to receive $150 GC Visa & $20 from Showtime. Have tried to get in touch with my account manager and have not heard anything. I was already mislead about having her cancel my Charter account. Now I feel I am being over charged and a victim of switch & bait/false advertising. Not a good start. If this isn't resolved I will go back to Charter.

Is this your first bill? If it is, look closely at it. You are probably being charged a prorated bill for the days you have service before you regular billing date. There are probably some fees such as local taxes and surcharges that you weren't aware of.

Often channel rebates have to be taken directly to the Channel.  I see this form for a $25 rebate from Showtime.  I don't see a $20 one at the moment.
