I signed up for a promotion for AT&T U-verse package and my contract has been done. I’m now paying waaayy too much. I went to an AT&T store to see if I can renew the contract I originally signed up with and they told me no. I want to stay but it’s way too expensive. I don’t want to call customer service coz I’ve been passed around too much. What else is the last resort I can take before I completely decide to leave?
Try calling "retentions". Call 800-288-2020 and ask for "retentions" as you navigate down the phone tree. They may be able to offer a promo you can live with...or not. Never expect the kind of promo new customers get and maybe be prepared to downgrade if possible.
