Neighbors across the street and in that area all have Gigabit service available. On my side of the street the neighbor 2 houses down has Gigabit (from a drop-down line from strung line). I was in an AT&T web chat to troubleshoot problems with my billing and service. The chat lasted over 2 hours, I was transferred 4 times, put on hold for over 1 hour, and none of my questions were answered nor problems solved. I have been an AT&T customer for 5 years, and this is terrible customer service.

So I've been waiting 3 yrs for uverse availability and Directv contract to expire. Ran straight down to my ATT cell provider (customer since 2005). They sold me a TV/phone/internet bundle...decent price.
