I never received my Rewards Visa Card as was promised.

I'm just wanting to know how I can find information on how to receive my Rewards Visa card I was promised.  It's been quite awhile since we had our Uverse Internet installed, but I haven't received anything.

Hello, LeahWalker!

Thanks for posting! How long has it been since your U-verse was installed? I found some information on our Rewards Center page that may be helpful.

Once you’ve met your service requirements on your offer and your active service has been confirmed, you can expect your reward to arrive in the mail within four weeks. This is approximately eight weeks from your installation date. You can obtain a real-time status for your rewards at the AT&T Reward Center.

For more information, click on the link below.

Let me know if that helps!

Hello,

i activated my service oct 15, 2013.

i was promised my visa rewards , two $150 giftcards?

and haven't received anything, its been past 8weeks as well.

i constently look in the mail and there is nothing.

i have tried numerous times to go on the rewards site and when I put my account & zip code, it SUDDENLY looks like page isnt working, funny right when I put that? Also,I have called the number it provides to contact and it is disconnected. Can someone please let me know when I will recieve this because i will be glad to cancel due to misleading promotions it told me and go back to comcast. If this was a lie just to get me to get uverse, you guys should have not told me i would get giftcards because its disrespectful.

thank you.

I'm with you.  I upgraded from U300 to U450 on 11/9/13.  TERMS & CONDITIONS CLEARLY state "must retain qualifying service for 30 days", it's now been 38 days and 5 phone calls, 1 online chat with SABBY from a foreign country.  I went to redeem per the instructions, and THERE WAS NO REWARD card to claim, redeem, or even look at.  3 different employees have now assured me it is available, but it's not.

I asked a simple question, "since I retained the service for 38 days now, if I want to downgrade, that will not affect my $100 rewards card, will it?   Instead of a straight YES or NO answer, they state "You should retain the service until you receive your card, which will be sent to you in 4-6 weeks"  I call nada on that.  I printed out the terms, have a printout of the chat and phone records of all my calls.

AT&T makes it extremely difficult to redeem, LIES about the 30 days, LIES about noting the account, LIES LIES LIES, I thought I was talking to Comcast.  Now I understand what the Comcast commercials are all about.  AT&T CSRs have "limited authority" and don't help, my favorite line they use is "at the end of the day, I am a customer too". OH yeah?  Well you must not be paying anything because while the TV IS all it's cracked up to be, the internet is slower than a constipated turtle, and the PERKS, INCENTIVES, and REWARDS are ALL BOGUS, except for the first one.  And I even had to threaten to cancel to get the extra $50 for upgrading at time of installation.

NOW HEAR THIS AT&T.  We all know that me and this other customer are not the only ones you guys JACK around.

I WANT MY $100 REWARD CARD and I WANT IT AS PER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, I DON'T WANT TO WAIT AND PAY FOR AN ADDITIONAL $35 per month so I can ultimately make less than promised.  I intend to call again today to see if the LIARS I spoke to yesterday LIED to me again.

Regardless, I will cancel my service on 12/31/13 if I don't have my Reward Card, and as far as the cancellation fee and bill, I will short pay it by $100 and send you teh terms and conditions I AGREED to.

I ADVISE EVERYONE TO DOCUMENT EVERYTHING YOU DO, because all the CSRs tell you just what you want to hear, but they FAIL TO DELIVER.  Any comments anyone who actually works for AT&T and lives in the USA? And DO NOT ask for a manager unless you want to be transferred to Sri Lanka or the Phillipines.  NOBODY CARES, at the end of the day I AM A CUSTOMER - and with AT&T the customer IS NEVER RIGHT.

HEY Marianna - I checked that link out - and NOTHING - maybe you should see my post.  WHY DO CUSTOMERS HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS just to get what was promised?

WHEN DID 30 days become 30 days PLUS 4-6 weeks to assure I get my reward?

I certainly do apologize for the problems you have had. If you are having problems with our rewards website, I would suggest calling our Rewards Center at the number provided by Mariana. If you are eligible for the promotion, they will be able to see it and get it all straightened out.

On the phone for 20 minutes yesterday, they 'promised. It within 4-6 weeks. I'll believe out when i see it. A promise is not "straightening it out", just for the record.

There are no legal comments, that's a promise, and of course misleading customers with deceptive offers, i wouldn't want any legal discussions either. Laws? We don't need no sticking laws

I also did not receive one of the Visa Rewards Cards I was promised.  I signed up for service in September 2013.  I was pitched with two Visa Rewards cards - one for $150 and one for $200 for signing up for the U-verse bundle.  I received the $150 card in February but never received the $200 card.  I went to the AT&T corporate store who put me on the phone with customer care.  Customer care passed me on to the Rewards Center.  The Rewards Center said that since it was over 120 days since I signed up for service, the rewards were "zeroed out."  They passed me back to customer care (while still at the AT&T store).  Customer care listened to my story, placed me on hold for 10 minutes, then a different person picked up and asked me what was wrong with my U-verse service.  I re-explained the story about receiving only the $150 card and not the $200 card.  They told me I should talk to the Reward Center.  I asked the rep inside the AT&T store if there was a physical address I could write to AT&T about my issue.  He had to ask his manager and then said he manager does not know of any physical address for customer service.  Sounds a lot like the run-around.  I left Charter who offered the same bundle I have with U-verse for less money and an offer to pay any early termination fees.  Also, AT&T raised my equipment charges despite a two-year price commitment.  Must have forgotten to read the fine print.

Hello gby3,

I'm sorry about the issues with your rewards. In most cases only the reward center can assist with reward cases, but I see that you've sent a private message to our ATTCustomerCare box and one of our managers is investigating it right now, they're our best team and if there is anything that can be done, they'll be able to do it for you.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Dmitriy

Hm, seems to be a common problem. I have contacted the rewards center on 3 separate occasions to get my $200 rewards card. It's been 6 months, and still no rewards card. Now, on the rewards center, it shows I don't even have a rewards card attached to my account.

I have sent a private message with full details to customer service. My goodness. I feel like I always have to contact AT&T customer service 3-4 times to get anything done. No matter if its wireless, uverse or rewards center. Very frustrating.

I'm in a similar situation, signed up for UVerse triple play in September, was promised $450 reward cards in total, the phone agent promised to email me a confirmation about the reward card amount but he never did. Installation was on Oct. 1, checked reward site on the 7th, only showing $150. Called multiple times, was told $150 is the only ppromotion in my account

Will wait few more days. If nothing shows up in att reward site by then, will just cancel the service since I'm still within 30 days free cancellation period, plus Comcast has a pretty enticing offer right now.

I have had the exact same experience as the users mentioned above.

I was promised a 150US$ gift card to switch from comcast to ATT as there is a 150US$ installation fee.

First call (after activation): Yes, you will get 150 US$ but just after we received your payment and 30 days of service.

Second call (2 months after activation): Yes, you will get it, it might take a while

Third call (8 (!) months after activation): Sorry, we cannot send you your rewards card unless you sign up for another service (????)

My wife spent over 1 hour on the phone to get this feedback on the third call..

By the way our connection is also really bad, we have a contract for 3Mbps but have barely 1.5 Mbps but we can also not reduce our rate, even though it was even recommended by the AT&T service that visited our place.. (????)

I will call myself tomorrow and make sure that there is no misunderstanding, because I cannot imagine that AT&T is promising users rewards and intentionally does not send them out which would basically be a scam. It must be just poor operation.

Anyway, I will post an update tomorrow after the call, but an advice for ANYONE CONSIDERING TO SWITCH TO ATT, BE AWARE THAT YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET WHAT YOU ARE PROMISED AND THAT THE QUALITY OF THE SERVICE (INTERNET CONNECTION) MIGHT BE WORSE THAN YOU EXPECT

PS if you want to have a username that includes "FRUSTRATED" you will find out that

a) all the usernames with random combination of numbers FRUSTRATED123 or FRUSTRATED007 have been taken

b) that FRUSTRATED in the username is not permitted (anymore?)

Have you tried the ATT Reward Center?

If not give it a look.

You can send a private message to the escalation team at ATT Customer Care and someone will get in touch with you in two to three business days to help you get a resolution to your problems.

It seems that many people are having problems getting their reward cards from AT&T, me included and very annoying.  I checked the status of my rewards and to my surprise, it says my service disconnected... WOW!!   My UVerse service has NEVER been disconnected in all the years I've had it so I am not happy about this at all.  I realize that things happen and sometimes an error can occur but some errors just shouldn't continue to happen on a regular basis... that's just not good.

I have had the same issue! called 4 times to resolve and just get the $100 I am owed. After hours of my personal time WASTED, at the end of call four, I was advised " don't worry Mr......, this will be taken care of." and guess what? It wasnt. Waited and waited giving att the benefit of doubt, and no card ever arrived. So AGAIN I call. Talk to a manager "Tom" ( and yes att I have his name, date, time of call and ID number) Tom basically said I didn't respond in the appropriate time to get the card. yet I called 5 times for it.4 of which were in the first 6 mo and also 2 withing the first 90 days. Of course Tom says he "has no record of this" (you know cause I lie about calling 5 times and ATT not sending me the card as agreed with your UVERSE REP WHEN I WAS SOLD THE UPGRADE AND $200 instalation fee.that has been paid in full for a YEAR now. I made it up TOM, cause I enjoy wasting my time .) Tom Gave me the run around, said I didn't do what I was supposed to, and only offered me a discount on service!?!? No thanks I'll take the money owed. the service has been garbage so far, why on earth would I want your discounted service instead? so I can spend another year trying to resolve when things are mucked up again? Absolutely rediculous! Quite frankly $100 isn't even a realistic gesture. ATT this business practice is unethical, deceptive and very dissapointing. [Per Guidelines:  Keep it Relevant and Appropriate]. I feel att will take zero responsibility. They simply DO NOT CARE.

Can someone help me? I switched from comcast when I moved and was promised a 400.00 reward card for the package deal I agreed to. When I got the junk mail looking piece of mail to enter the code I did so right away. Waited and waited and then tried to put in the code again and it said expired. So what gives? Was that just an elaborate scheme to get another customer, with broken promises?

Well looky look here what I found. At&t is a bunch of lyin crooks. So at&t tells lies to get customers. Yea sounds like blatant breach of contract. You can't even call cause they don't have a number provided cause they don't want to talk. I was hung up on twice just today. I switched my service 2 months ago and have yet to receive anything from y'all except a bill. And oh... don't be late payin that bill cause yo will be turned off, quick and in a heart beat. But that's OK cause y'all forgot about Karma. You see you dumb, unprofesional, crooks will get whats coming to you. Look at all these posts. You think you can get away with this without repercusions? I'm going to make it my business to voice very loudly what a company this is. And I have a big mouth, and people in high places who will be very interested to hear about your criminal unlawful business practices. Did y'all forget about competition? Y'all are not the only service providers there are. But one things for sure. I will not give at&t not one more copper penny until I receive what was promised to me. If my card is not sent to me within the next 2 weeks I will begin my onslaught boycott of this company. It will give me great pleasure to be a part of teaching companies like yours the wrath of the consumer. Oh I didn't mention that I'm a boycotter. I boycotted bright house and Ford from 13 years ago. Once your on that list its forever. And I will open my big mouth and show every person I know and meet this website and what kind of crooked scamming practices your company uses on honest hard working people. Pocketing billions of dollars in profits on the backs of innocent people. Consumer Reports LOVES these kind of stories. THEY PROTECT THE CONSUMER. OH and y'all can try to ruin my credit all you want and try to collect all you want. I don't care. Cause I already have bad credit and I don't care. I will also be reporting you to the better business bureau as well as many others. Someone of high importance better contact me immediately to resolve this situation. I don't really think you want to be smeared all over the world wide news, CNN, or the FCC. I LOVE putting companies that take advantage of the consumer out of business.

I was wondering how it feels to work for a company that decieves people and your specific job is to sit and lie to preople and post lies that dont exist and continue to sit and post lie anfter lie after lie just to drag people around. that s ok though cause i see a demise of your company. once the media and the government hear what yall are doing, you will be investigated and hopefully end up in the unemployment line. LIARS! CROOKS! THIEVES!
