well i messed up swapping am i gonna be without
So I swapped from 3mb dsl to 3mb uverse tech called this morning said he was working on it to hook new modem I did it it came on I signed up they turned off dsl. Well here's the problem the uverse depth dropping tech called me back said he would run test he then came over and showed me on hos meter im barley getting 1mb feed on line he said I need to go back to dsl he called in talked a bit then gave me the phone I talked a bit stayed on hold 20 min lady came back said dsl had been turned off complete that I should wait for a call back from back office support to answer more questions in 3 or 4 hours

Tech said he was going back to office and wire up the dsl again. Keep in mind im in a rual area not a city everyone out here has dsl and slow 3mb is the max.

So now uverse is off since he swaped lines back to dsl but no service since I got a uverse account that wont work

Have I screwed myself out of any internet I hope not kids do online school and I work from home

I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the ATTU-verseCare Community Specialist team.  One of the specialists will respond to your PM shortly.  Please look for the flashing envelope at the top right of the page for your response from a team member.

 

Once of the specialist's will be able to help.

So Back office support called said they would swap me back to dsl that should be done in 2hours . They called back said that they had swapped it all over that they sent a tech ticket for the technology to hook phone up. I called tech back on his cell he double checked wires and my service is on my dsl modem is snyc. up but will not accept my user name and password. I call dsl support im transfered to uverse support who tell me I don't have a uverse acct. I call dsl from my cell phone they tell me that my number still shows uverse......

tech is a great guy he called me a few mind ago to check if I was online I told him no he came over and checked line and said I was indeed on dsl that its one

Still no dsl finally talked to escalate support in a off shore call center that told me all the rest of people I talked to were lieing and I would need to sign up for new service and it would take a week or 2.

I asked for a american call center supervisor got a nice lady that said that wasn't true but the back office uverse team didn't close the order right and she placed a ticket with that department and they would call me in 2 hours.

This is a real headache im losing pay and my kids are in online school getting absence and bad grades.

Does anyone here have any solution numbers I can call anything

You can expect a reply via return PM(Blue envelope top right of screen) between the hours of 7am-10pm CST Monday - Friday, should hear back within 2 to 3 business days.

Suggest you take one of the two suggestions to PM one of these escalation teams to work on your issue.

 

The people you can reach with a phone call ain't helpin' you.  The longer you wait to PM, the longer you're going to wait to get your issue resolved.

 

When you PM, including your Billing Account Number and the best way and time to contact you.
