I currently live in a very rural area. AT&T has sent me many letters and email letting me know that I can have uverse at my house. When I schedule an install the AT&T installer shows up and explains that he does not know why anyone told me that I could have it at my house. It also shows online that my house is eligible for service. This has been going on for about a year now. I am just a little confused as to why I keep getting told I can have the service, but in reality its not possible.
Probably an incorrect entry in the database. But with that said I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the ATTU-verseCare Community Specialist team. One of the specialists will respond to your PM shortly. Please look for the flashing envelope at the top right of the page for your response from a team member.
They can work with you to determine yes or no and get the database corrected should it need to be.

It's very ironic since cable and satellite TV have their roots in the rural areas. That was the orginal idea behind cable tv to bring clear picture and sound for people watching TV out in the country. Now unless Uverse has changed in the last year AT&T would have to install VRADs unless they have a rural version of the VRAD, MAYBE a mini VRAD installed on country houses so ruralfolks can enjoy Uverse.
Thank you all for the comments. I have sent att uverse care an email. The service is at the end of my road. In the future it might come down my road, but right now it has not. I just do not understand why I keep getting told it can be installed when it cannot. What a waste of time!
