cant get service at our house?

So two friends and I moved into a house and we love gaming and really want u verse but every time I have called or tried to get the service online it cant find us but my friend's mom has it across the road less than 50 yeards from us can anybody help us get sercice at our house

Fill out the address, when it pops up with the screen 'U-verse Service Not Available For....' click on 'Research my Address'. This will open an Address Validation case which can take as long as 7-10 days if they need to roll a truck to verify. It can take much less time if it's just a database correction.

Provide as many details as you can such as a neighbor on your block having U-verse (with address), if you received direct mail about a U-verse product, or U-verse was eligible for service before. If you feel it necessary to call instead of do this online, you have a few options. You can call 800-288-2020 and ask for either Sales (by asking for new service) or Retentions (by saying cancel when it asks). I prefer Retentions as they generally deal with complex issues and all are in the U.S. Ask them to create an account for you and create an Address Validation. It's the same as online, 7-10 days and rarely will anyone have more information until someone from that team updates the Address Validation case updates it with a response to Deny or Approve service (and which type).

Just FYI - on my experience with this very thing:


The Research My Address option is no longer available.

I was able to chat with a CSR and was sent this link:


Of course, it failed to do anything but check the existing (possibly incorrect) database and tell me that UVerse is not available at my home.


I was then given the number to an AT&T Specialist.

I guess I'll try them tomorrow.

Another wild goose chase?


I just want someone to come to the location and determine what is actually available or when it might become available.

Someone, somewhere has a schedule and some idea of future growth areas.


A major relocation and residential build hinges on whether I can tele-commute.

I personally would suggest that you click this AT&T logoU-verse Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team and ask them to create an Address Validation Case on your behalf. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope envelopein the upper right hand corner of this site) in a business day or three.

This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end (instead of forgetting about it when the phone hits the cradle). Speed things up by including any AT&T Account Number you already have, your exact physical address, the physical address of any adjacent neighbors who do have service, and the best time and way to reach you.
