I had DSL for almost 8 years and then I changed to Uverse. It is horrible. I have 3 techs out to figure out problem, they cant. It resets all the time. We can only run one computer on a normal level and the other is just soooooooooo slow. Gosh forbid if we want to watch tv on computer and have an Xbox run at the same time. Oh and this is my 2nd Uverse box thinking it was the problem.
On my old DSL we had 2 computers & 2 Xboxs (live gaming) running with no problems.
Why am I paying this amount of money for the past almost 2 years for horrible service? I also bring this up to customer service thinking they would do whatever possible to fix or tell me the truth that I will only get (not even) 3 connection.
All my friends have Comcast and when they complain, their company will offers deals, discounts or refunds to make their customers happy.
Why did you do away with DSL????? It was so much better for me ...at least in my area.
After more than 10 years with ATT I think it is time to move on.
I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the ATTU-verseCare Community Specialist team. One of the specialists will respond to your PM shortly. Please look for the flashing envelope at the top right of the page for your response from a team member.
Let one of the specialists work with you by running tests, dispatching repair, and replacing any defective equipment if needed.
They will get you fixed up.

I did say in my post that they were out here physically 3 times in one year & I am on my second Uverse box. All 3 techs had different reasons why I might have such a slow connection & disconnects. I just wish I never changed to Uverse...my DSL was amazing! The funny thing is ATT just doesn't care. I have a person from another country helping me with customer service and I am sure they could care less if I changed my service to Comcast. I told her that was the only option I had to get better service and she said, "Ok, sorry".
