Want to just give up with UVerse

My bill has gone too high. $160 a month. I need to cut down cost. Spoken to 4 different customer service folks both via chat and on the phone. To my dismay, I can't get just a basic and internet bundle. They don't offer that. They can offer me Direct TV and internet for cheaper but I don't have line of sight for satellite for less. So that's no good - besides after the year is up, I'll be paying what I pay now all over again. They can't offer me the packages that are being advertised on TV...because I'm not a new customer but if I move I can be eligible. Meanwhile I've been a customer for almost 5 years now so "So sorry ma'am".

Last thing a rep told me over the phone is that if I call today or maybe Wed they may have some offers then...meanwhile...I have a hole in the bucket if I wait. I've contacted a rep on this forum who STILL hasn't gotten back to me.

Meanwhile, TWC who I don't really care for is offering me $67 for internet speed 3x faster than what I have and basic cable. Wonderful except I hear such horror stories about them.

This isn't worth it and AT&T please don't ask me to refer a friend because I would like to keep my friendships!

And I bet after a time with TWC you'll be paying regular price with them as well.

See if Customer Care can give some relief.  Contact ATT Customer Care here:
http://forums.att.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage/tab/compose/note-to-user-id/192773

Send them a private message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your cost problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time, response may take up to 2 business days.

This is not the regular CS/TS people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done.

Include your account#, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check for the blue PM envelope to appear, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck ;
