WHY? Tell me why!

[ Edited ]

I'm a hardcore gamer. I use uverse to play games. This is where I have and issue with uverse service. The Americas 12.129.209.68 Diablo 3 server trace route, from their server to my house! This is an ISP problem. When is this going to be resolved? Is this ever going to be resolved? How many more customers have to tell you about these "HOPS", before you do somthing about them?

Re: WHY? Tell me why!

Could try Google Public DNS, bypassing the RG's ATT DNS, to see if your routing is better:

Re: WHY? Tell me why!

Blizzard, AT&T Sign Multimillion Dollar Hosting Deal. AT&T will sport the hosting for World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, and Diablo III. Wednesday AT&T said that it reached an agreement with Blizzard that expands their current ten-year relationship. In a new multimillion dollar, multi-year, multi-services contract, Blizzard will use AT&T's Enterprise Hosting Services in North America for World of WarCraft and the upcoming StarCraft and Diablo franchises.

Meanwhile, AT&T's customers drown in latency and can't access content they have already payed for on both sides of the fence. Both to the company Blizzard Entertainment for the games and then again for the internet service to play said games. WHY?

Re: WHY? Tell me why!

I'd also like to know why AT&T is allowed to buy out small apartment complexes, like mine. Where no other internet service providers (ISP) are allowed to come out an install internet services, thus taking away my ability to find a better provider.

That is the decision of your apartment complex.  They didn't have to enter into an exclusivity agreement, but decided to anyway.  They are the ones you should complain to.

I've already complained to them. I did so before I complained on here for your information and if I want I'll do it again, right here. In fact I'll do whatever I feel like doing from here on out. Might I suggest switching to decaf?

Re: WHY? Tell me why!

Problematic hosts in AT&T's network:

gar29.la.att.net

12-122-254-238.attens.net

12-122-254-234.attens.net

Occassionally cr.la2ca.ip.att.net

Consistently bad performer gar29.la2ca.ip.att.net

I'll get the techs out to my house and I will continue to suck away at AT&T resources untill we get to the bottom of this issue. I'm a customer after all. I'd think someone in the chain of command would hear me out and if not. I'll continue to climb the mountain untill someone does! If you don't have anything constructive to type, then don't do it. All you're assisting is yourselves with your post count. I'm one step ahead of you guys anyways, with all your suggestions. Move along now.

I'm sorry, I don't actually see the problem you're referring to.  Could you explain in a little more detail just what the problem you want to see corrected is?  I see the "BAD" and "MORE BAD", etc"... but what about this is a problem?  Three routing nodes in AT&T's network didn't feel the need to generate an error when the ICMP packet with a zero TTL counter arrived and just dropped it.  So what?
