Uverse Gigapower versus Directv

Uverse Gigapower versus Directv

I am considering switching over to Gigapower (as it is available in my neighborhood), but have been told by several that the picture quality is not as good as Directv. Can someone answer that statement that has some experience in that? Thanks

Re: Uverse Gigapower versus Directv

I just use GigaPower for my internet, and Dish Network for my TV.  Come over to http://www.satelliteguys.us and get some other opinions.  The general consensus is that U-Verse has PQ issues.

I like my 6 tuners + OTA Tuner, and the ability to record all 4 of the big-4 on ONE tuner.

YMMV.

Thanks for your response, although I could not find any answers to my question regarding DT vs UV picture quality.

Did you look in the U-Verse forum?

There are also other PQ posts in both that and the DirecTV forum.

Re: Uverse Gigapower versus Directv

you mean your 6 tuners only during prime time hours and only on ABC, CBS, NBC, and ABC? Don't mislead. Your DVR has 3 tuners, period.

Re: Uverse Gigapower versus Directv

Directv does have better picture quality but its not a deal breaker in many people's opinion. having a uncountable amount of HD channels Directv doesn't have makes up for it.

Re: Uverse Gigapower versus Directv

I have 2 Hoppers with Sling, so I have 6 tuners.
