UVerse keeps adding receiver fee's .Losing a customer!!

To whom ever is listening,

When i signed up for uverse tv  & internet back in 2009-10, It was a new cust deal that included FREE equipment! It was noted on my bill as no charge until 12\6\2092 .

 after a year or so receiver fee's started popping up on my bills and i would have to call and they would see that it shouldn't be there and they would credit me!

Now its every frigging month the receiver fee's show up or if i sign up for a promotion I will get charged for them too.

Sometimes I wait a couple months and then call and they credit me? Cust\service always says that they will pass my problem on to some higher up to get this problem taken care of? But It never doe's!

It completly sucks that I have to deal with this every month! I do not want to get rid of Uverse tv.... But I cannot deal with their shady billing any longer!

Please do not make me call Comcast.

Do this:

 Since this is account specific I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the AT&TCustomerCare customer service team. They will reply back with a PM (blue envelope in the top right of the page). Their normal business hours are from 7am to 10pm Central Time.

 

They are a different group than the normal customer service.  They should be able to get to the bottom of it for you.

All providers are charging receiver fees now so even if you did change, you'd have fees for each reciever you needed.

I received a phone call today from a friendly att staff person (Sorry cannot remember his name) And said that he was removing the receiver fee's from my billing! And that there should not be any further charges for equipment!

Hopefully this resolves my issues and that it doesn't return!
