U-Verse TV availability at my home

For the last three years I have been checking on the availability of U-Verse TV at my house. My neighbor has had it for 2 years now, and I still don't have availability at my house. This is very disappointing since I am only 100 yards away from my neighbor. I have been calling and posting to see how long until there will be availability and no one has an answer for me.

 

I have called to have a tech come out to check the signal, but I keep getting told over the phone and chat that there will not be a signal strong enough.

 

I am currently, and have been for over 10 years, a wireless customer. I am thinking of going to the ATT internet service, but do not want to do this until TV is available. I know other neighbors of mine have been waiting as well. So it would be to ATTs best interest to get a booster in my neighborhood to add me and others on my street ATT as customers.

 

This is very frustrating and I will be considering moving my wireless over to another service so I can bundle all of my services together soon.

 

How long do we have to wait?

If you've never had an "address validation case" opened for you, I would suggest you do so.

 

Please click this AT&T logoU-verse Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team to help you resolve your request. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope envelopein the upper right hand corner of this site) in a business day or three.

This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end (instead of forgetting about it when the phone hits the cradle). Speed things up by including your Billing Account Number, and the best time and way to reach you.  Also include your physical address, as well as that of your neighbor who has U-verse IPTV service.

 

That 100 yards of distance can put you out of the reach of service, depending on how dicey your neighbor's connection is.  He may be using bonded pair and running the electrons downhill and just getting by.  Some have not been able to get service when their neighbor 50 feet away can get it, because their telephone cable bundle comes from the other direction and doesn't have U-verse (or is too far away).
