Trying to access my iSmartAlarm camera

I have a AT&T Uverse Router 3800HGV-B. I was told from the company that I would need to do some port forwarding in order to access my camera outside my WIFI. They gave me instructions for a AT&T 6800G which tells me to enter the settings in a Virtual Server menu but I am still running to problems. I am told to port forward 1040 and 17941.

 

If someone can help me out on this would be greatly apprectiated. I also have followed http://forums.att.com/t5/Features-and-How-To/Help-with-programming-a-pin-hole-in-the-RG/m-p/2659655/... but I am unable to access the camera.

 

Also I am told to set a static IP of the iCamera provided with these onto my iPhone iSmartAlarm app.

  • IP = iCamera’s IP address
  • Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0
  • Gate = 192.168.0.1
  • DNS = 75.75.75.75

First thing I see wrong is the Gateway.....it should be 192.168.1.254.  The IP address of the camera should be 192.168.1.1 thru 192.168.1.63 for static or 192.168.1.64 thru 192.168.1.253 for DHCP.  You shouldn't need a DNS entry.......at least I didn't on my cameras.  Subnet looks right.

Ok, I have port forward 17941 and 1040. Entered my iCamera's IP address, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0. Gate 192.168.1.254 and DNS 75.75.75.75. Got a different behavior which actually found the camera and rebooted it. After the reboot, I can see through the camera on my phone through my WIFI network.

Logged out of home WIFI and attempted to access the iCamera through LTE/4G. Now it just sits on the loading screen. Am I missing anything?
