TV signal loss

Turned my TV ON at 9:00pm EST and greeted with the blue screen informing me that my TV has been lost!

Rebooted the DVR which fixed it but this happens from time to time.  The last time the DVR was recording, of course nothing was recorded.

Does this happen to anyone else?  I'm in Michigan just north of Detroit.

What could it be? It could be just about anything. About all the customer can do is make sure all COAX connections are tight. Then call in.

A remote test could determine the RG needs to be replaced (my case) or a wiring problem (inside or outside). Everybody puts off going to the doctor, but that is often the only path to a cure.
