Switching from interleaved to Fastpath.


Switching from interleaved to Fastpath.

Just recently changed my internet from At&t's DSL service to U-Verse and was annoyed to see my data path get switched from fastpath to Interleaved.


My modulation is ADSL2+ and searching through other posts here point to the possibility of getting it changed with it. Spoke with multiple tier 1/tier 2 representatives but they either don't know what I'm talking about, try to transfer me to at&t connectech, or ask to send a technician to my house to change modem settings.. 


How do I get this changed?

I know the VDSL service is interleaved only.  You say you have ADSL 2+.  I would assume that the interleaved setting is hard coded in the AT&T Router you received.  Can it be changed?  Who knows.  If I had to guess, it ain't gonna happen.


With that said, I would recommend that you send a Private Message to the ATTU-verseCare Community Specialist team.  One of the specialists will respond to your PM shortly.  Please look for the flashing envelope at the top right of the page for your response from a team member.


If anyone can get it changed these folks can.  If they can't they will tell you why.
