It would be good if Uverse adds Caracol TV to their line up, I have been holding changing my subscription from Directv for absence of that one channel

Hmmm.. I see Weather Channel is up for renewal.  Could "Local on the 8's" be part of the new contract discussions?

"Dear AT&T.  If you want to continue to carry Weather Channel, you need to include Local on the 8's programming."

No word on what will happen to Fox Deportes on 655 and Gol TV on 656.

Here's a cleaned-up version of the list:

CNN en Español Channel 3202 will move to channel 3110

SUR Channel 3203 will move to Channel 3111

ESPN Deportes Channel 3302 will move to Channel 3113

Fox Deportes Channel 3303 will move to Channel 3114

AyM Sports Channel 3310 will move to Channel 3119

GolTV Channel 3304 will move to Channel 3115

Cinelatino Channel 3402 will move to Channel 3126

De Película Channel 3404 will move to Channel 3128

De Película Clásico Channel 3405 will move to Channel 3129

VeneMovies Channel 3408 will move to Channel 3132

Cine Mexicano Channel 3410 will move to Channel 3134

MTV Tr3s Channel 3505 will move to Channel 3142

Telehit Channel 3506 will move to Channel 3143

Bandamax Channel 3509 will move to Channel 3146

Ritmoson Latino Channel 3512 will move to Channel 3149

Or it could be dropped altogether just like Hallmark.

This *is* a possibility.  AT&T may think that since they have their own channel which does local weather, why should they have to pay someone else for their "Weather Channel."

Another thing:  They talk about the addition of Spanish channels in HD.  I'd like to see the addition of Univision, Telefutura, and Telemundo HD.  Since these are fairly popular channels, hopefully the HD feeds of these come soon.

It will also be interesting to see what they do with the HD channel placements.

I do wish that AT&T could take on DirecTV's system, where the HD channel is the same number as the SD channel, but I understand why that can't happen (stream limits.)

That depends on the market, I believe. In my area, Univision and Telemundo are locals and already have HD versions on U-verse. The only one that would be missing and that seems to be absent from this update is Galavision which does have some HD programming available which U-verse does not get.

Re: Spanish channels moving, HD spanish channels coming

Manuel,

I just found your post after I posted mine. I've been with Uverse for 2 days, and I am in shock that I can't find Telemundo, Univision or Telefutura in HD though they are locals and already in HD. Do you know why is that? I switched from Comcast and there were in HD there too.

If they're available locally, you should be able to pick them up with an antenna.
