Red record display light on DVR

Why does the red record display light stay on when the DVR is not recording?

Shouldn't.  Unplug all of your receivers including the DVR and then plug them back in.  See if it goes out.

MeeMeeC Never seen the light lit when not recording. You can do a whole house reboot -
Pull power on RG, DVR & STBs/WAPs.
Repower RG, wait for all green
Repower DVR wait for viewing.
Repower remainder.
Check your recording list first to make sure you do not kill a recording in progress.
