Overcharged and never received the promotions that I agreed too.

I recently found out that I have been overcharged for service on my UVERSE plan. I found this out when I discovered the agreement that I signed up for that was emailed to me when I first signed up from September 2012. I looked at it and compared it to what I was charged currently and they were completely two different things. 

 

Besides being overcharged, I have not recieve any rebate cards that was promised. 1 $150 and 1 $100 promotion card. I have called in about the situtaion and have talked to people who said they could help and opened two tickets and never got a call back and been transfered countless time. This is my last resort using this forum.

 

I like some kind of answer on what happened and what my options are.

 

I still have the email file to prove.

 

What I signed up for:

 

12 month agreement. Long time user 6+ years of ATT wireless.

AT&T Uverse Family--------- $57

$31 Off TV for 12 months---- $-31

Vietnamese channel----------$25

1 Wired DVR---------------------$0

2 Wired non DVR--------------$14

HDTV-------------------------------$10

Total================$71

 

Highspeed 12MPS DL-------$48

12 month agreement---------$-10

Equipement fee----------------$6

Total ===============$44

 

What I am actually been charged since day 1 of the first bill:

AT&T U verse U200-----------$74

HDTV-------------------------------$10

Receiver fee----------------------$21

Vietnamese channel----------$10

Total================$130

 

Interent Max Total---------------$51.

Since this is account specific I would recommend that you send a private message to the escalation team at ATT Customer Care and someone will get in touch with you. Please include your name, account number, email address, phone number and the best time to contact you. Their normal business hours are from 7am to 10pm Central Time. It may take up to 48 hours for them to respond and please take into account weekends when contacting them.  

 

Customer care is not the same as customer service. They are a dedicated escalation team that gets issues resolved when other means have failed.

 

To check for their reply, click the little blue envelope.
