No where near my advertised speed for the new "Power" tier.

No where near my advertised speed for the new "Power" tier.

U-Verse came out yesterday morning and installed a new RG (NVG589) for the new tier. The install tech set everything up but said there was a problem with one of the two lines coming into the RG so he left and sent out a line tech about an hour later. After he spent about 3 hours outside, he came back and told me that "~20mbps is as fast as you're going to get" which is ridiculous because while the first tech was here it was pulling down at least 35mbps on just one line.

I took some screenshots; one of the lines status and one of the speed tests I ran (I also went directly wired with my laptop and got exactly the same result).

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hello, MaddMan88

My name is Morgan, I'm one of the U-verse Community Specialists. I apologize for the profile cap limiting your internet speed, but I appreciate you posting a screenshot with this information. Based off the Downstream and Upstream Sync rate, it does look like you can get 45Mbps service however, I would like to run some measurements on your bonded lines to make sure the distance can sustain the 45Mbps service without causing any interruptions to your service. I'm going to send you a private message that will land in your inbox so we can gather your account information and assist you in getting this resolved. Thank you! Smiley Happy
