Intermittent Uverse internet outages

As noted by several other posts, we too are experiencing intermittent internet outages with our Uverse internet service.  The outages seem totally random occurring at all times of the day and night.  They have lasted anywhere from tens of seconds to more than twenty minutes. AT&T techs have been to our house twice and could not find the problem.  We are desperate enough to be seriously considering switching to Comcast!

Confirmed area outages are different than intermittent service connectivity. More than likely you'll need a technician, but I'd strongly suggest downloading U-verse Realtime (www.uvrealtime.com/) and post the results. This will allow us to help you remotely over the forums. For immediate assistance, contact ATT at 800-288-2020 and ask for technical support.
