Installation issues not resolved by customer service
Looking for tips on how to get help from AT&T customer service. Installer attempted to install 10/26 but couldn't. He broke the lock and door knob for my building's phone room in the process. I called customer service and was told a 2nd installer would come on 10/27. I was told to be at home 8am to 8pm. no one showed. I called that evening and was told to call back during the day. I called the next day and was told an installer would come that day. Again, no one showed. How do I get a reliable person on the phone at AT&T to resolve my issue?

I would recommend that you send a Private Message to ATTCustomerCare is part of the AT&T customer service team, They may be able to resolve your Issue. You can expect a reply via return PM(Blue envelope top right of screen) between the hours of 7am-10pm CST Monday - Friday, should hear back within 2 to 3 business days.
