I've been in hold two days in a row for hours at a time!!
My bill has been going through the roof so I've finally decided to call and do something about it and I've been out on hold two days in a row for hours. The first time I sat in hold for over an hour and hung up and called back. They said the department is now closed I was being transferred to. Tonight, sitting on hold while I type this. I just want to cancel my account and move on at this point but no one will deal with it in there end.

I would suggest that you contact AT&T Customer Care via private message. These are not the same people as the CS/TS reps you call--they are social media managers who can connect you with the right people to escalate your issue. Include your name, account number and your contact information. Watch the blue envelope at the top right of your screen--they usually reply within 1-2 business days.
