Done with u-verse, ready to stop being a customer after 30+ years

Our service has reached a point where I am absolutely disgusted with ATT. Currently, we are lucky if our att connection downtime is less than 40% within a 24 hour period. Within 24 hours, we typically lose about 7-12 hours with absolutely no TV or internet. We have been a loyal customer of ATT and any calls with "techs" have been repeated useless jargon. Whatever. Its been well over a month of our service quality being completely below sub par and its unnaceptable. Not only that, we are only recieving about a third of the bandwidth we pay for. We dont need another "tech" to make sure we have a working modem, theyve done that at least 6 times in the past year alone. We need someone to investigate and repair lines and connections to our house Were still stuck on the same copper wire from 40 years ago, yet techs have stated this is "completely fine". Anyone who has read anything about networking mediums knows that unshielded 40 year old copper wire can only handle a minute fraction of even a basic coax cable. The entire area around us is now completely residential, and we are one of very very few houses not conenction by a fios or cable junction. This needs to be fixed or you are losing yet another long time customer.
I doubt you even read the complaints on down detector. The outtages are so bad, people dont even have the ability to dial 911.  Good job att, good job.
About areas being down, at least have the decency to release information publically as to why you have countless customers without service.
