Hello Rampsup1.  Thanks for your post.

 

I am not sure of your specific circumstance, but yes, there are instances where your bill could be prorated.  For example reading If I order U-verse services, what happens to my traditional landline charges? you will see a comment regading pro-rated credits for services not used. 

 

Did you recently do combined billing?  If so, there may be some pro-rated billing.

Careful what you wish for. Your better off losing AT&T and going with a better company. Your bill will combine and go up without notice.
