I'll keep this simple. I'll never EVER return to AT&T because of their illigitimate services. Seems to me that they're greedy, no good, thieving scroundrels who know nothing about customer service or business retention at a proper human level. I've had nothing but issues for the past 2 months doing my best to have my services cancelled once I found out that I was 1. Being overcharged, 2. Being overcharged AHEAD OF TIME, & 3. I tried working with them to compromise and continue services... Which in the end failed because they bounced me around fromtheir representatives to Direct TVs representatives and NONE of the services that were promised in that new package deal were legit. TOTALLY BOGUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. Now, I work in the automovtive side of customer service. You HAVE to treat people right and honestly AT&T!!! We're people, consumers just like YOU!! I've tried canceling time and time again and yet come to find out after I'm given a confirmation number... It's STILL ACTIVE AND IM BEING CHARGED DOUBLE. I've already sent ALL the equipment back the FIRST TIME I CANCELLED  2 MONTHS AGO. Why can't I get this resolved? What's y'all's issue??!! FIX THIS!! It's not my doing. Everyone who is having similar issues is sick and tired of your tyranny. Most of these people have been loyal customers for years. Me, on the other hand was loyal for a year until this crap was pulled. Never again AT&T. My family, friends, coworkers, church attendants, whoever will listen to what liars and thieves you are and I can go elsewhere with our business. We work hard for our money and its ridiculous that were being scammed and treated like scum. This may not be the Best way of going about having my issues resolved, but someone has to say it. It's ridiculous that I'm having to continue, 2 months later with different reps from different states each time I find something different with my account and being billed FOR SOMETHING I DONT HAVE EQUIPTMENT FOR AND DON'T USE!! [Per Guidelines:  Keep it Relevant and Appropriate].

     I would recommend that you send a Private Message to Community SupportATTCustomerCare is part of the AT&T customer service team, They may be able to resolve your Issue. You can expect a reply via return PM(Blue envelope top right of screen) between the hours of 7am-10pm CST Monday - Friday, should hear back within 2 to 3 business days.

I'm thinking that since the guy mentioned DirecTV, he was sold a DirecTV/AT&T bundle.

 

Good luck helping him fix the TV side of that.

Especially since DTV has their own nightmare of customer service.  Once AT&T sells the bundle, they are out of the equation for TV, only internet.
