Just got a new wireless printer (previously had one connected to laptop by USB). New Printer = Canon PIXMA-MX452. Installation process offers multiple ways to connect -- push WPS button, manual setup, etc. If I use the "push WPS button" method, do I push the button on the RG or the WPA? My impression, the WPA is only for the TV set-top boxes. BTW, the printer finds 2WIRExxx, but I can't figure out how to complete the connection.
klncjchar - Yes, WPA is just for TV. WPS seems more complicated than just connecting, which is what usually works. If you find the network, you should be able to select it and enter the password to connect.

Thanks for the PDF from Canon. It is helpful. The problem may not be U-verse or the printer. Running the install on the laptop, I opted to set up the wireless connection temporarily using the USB cable. This is one of the options in the manual. At the appropriate moment I connect the laptop to the printer. The installation software on the laptop is unable to detect the printer. I'm wondering if there's a problem with the laptop. Toshiba Satellite C655D running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). One of my reasons for buying the new printer was a suspicion the old driver for the old printer wasn't playing nice with Win 7 (last updated for Vista).
