Confusing

I have tried several times to get U-verse in my house but always get the response, "not available in your area at this time". My next door neighbor has it and a lot of people in my subdivision. My house is only five years old. At&t has checked it out several times.  It just seems silly that I am singled out not to get it. May have to stick with Charter?

Think of it like a rain shower. At some location, there is a place where it's raining and literally a foot away it's not. The cut off has to be somewhere. In the case of Uverse, there are various criteria that go into determining the cutoff. I can understand how you could feel like you're being singled out, but I can assure you that's not the case. AT&T wants to get Uverse in every home possible, much like any business.

That said, you've said AT&T's "check it out" several times. Did they just check the address, or actually have engineering verify? You can always send a private message to customer care using the link below, and they'll make sure every effort has been made to qualify your address for Uverse.
