At&t should not need to lie to make a sale.

I asked for basic internet. DSL and home phone. I was told that DSL isnt available in my area repeatedly. That was a lie

 

I was told that I could not self install the Uverse equipment but I just ran accross some instructions for self install, so that was a lie too. A $200 lie.

 

I was told that uverse would be less expensive than DSL after I told the salesperson that I really needed the least expesive service, a lie

 

I was told I could cancel at any time, lie

 

I cant afford uverse right now. .I told the sales person this and she said that she was sorry but I couldnt have internet or phone unless I went with uverse.

 

I tried to cancel this as soon as I became aware that DSL was available in my area but apparently there is a penalty if I do that. $180

 

 

  I dislike uverse, it bumps me offline while i work and i have to start what i am doing over again..
