Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!
Signed up for GigaPower here in Austin (suburbs). Was getting near 300Mbps up/300Mbps down on installation day - with direct connect into the Uverse RG. I need to upgrade my wired switches to Gigabit, and figure out why it seems to have slowed a bit. Installed the Monday before Christmas...and supposed to be upgraded to 1Gbps this summer automatically.
But 0 SD/5 HD as seen below is nice, and a 1TB DVR. Plus more HD channels. Uverse is looking much better over here these days.
Install was pretty easy, had to change out the box on the side of the house, new RG, new DVR, took about 5 hours cause the wiring at the main box was mislabeled mostly. A couple of reboots and letting the DVR "warm up" (it was slow to respond to remote commands straight out of the box) and things are working nicely now.
This is from my wired 2nd receiver, not the DVR:
DVR space: (280/.85 = ~330 hours)
Only 93 Mbps tonite - should have saved the 300/300 one - that was impressive.

I should have mentioned, one New Year's wish was that everyone get Gigabit download speeds in 2014.
