I was shopping for internet a few weeks ago. Part of the reason I chose ATT uverse was the sales representative promised my "activation fee of $50" was "not a problem". All it took was a call for him as soon as I get my first bill and he would help waive it. I am a student supporting myself so I am not rich at all and every cent counts. So I brought uverse. There was actually a problem on ATT's side about sync, so I had to wait an week before my internet actually worked. On top of this, the sales representative delayed my waiver for a week because he was sick from work. Now he does not reply anymore.
Is there a number I could call to get this solved? I am pretty shocked at how I was lured into the service and lied to in my face about the fee waiving.
I would recommend that you send a Private Message to ATTCustomerCare is part of the AT&T customer service team, They may be able to resolve your Issue. You can expect a reply via return PM between the hours of 7am-10pm CST.
